This beautiful mom, Leah, was just diagnosed with stage four cervical adenocarcinoma. It’s aggressive, and painful, and metastasized, and exhausting. When I heard the news, I was heartbroken for their sweet family. I met Leah and Ryan a few years ago when their son was just a baby. I was invited into their home and around their property to capture their adoption story.
In the many years Ryan and Leah have been together they have faced many obstacles. I don’t know them well, but from every blog post or Instagram caption I grow to love them more. They are truly inspirational through the curveballs constantly thrown their way. It was an honor to be welcomed back into their home for this KA passion project.
