Cache Valley Extended Family Pictures | Elgan Family
I love extended family sessions. I know that I say that about all my sessions. The truth is, I just REALLY love my job. BUT, there is something different about every type of session. I love extended family sessions because the pictures tell a legacy. Not only do we get to capture each, individual family, but we also get to capture the relationship between the cousins. I get to see the grandparents interacting with their grandkids. I love seeing the oldest grandkid snuggle up to the grandparents, because you know the first grandchild always holds a special place in everyone’s heart. The first grandchild starts a new era. The family changes. From then on out everything is different.
Anytime a family session starts on the property that the family owns, I know it’s going to be a good one! The Elgan family invited me up to their “Mountain House” near Preston, Idaho. I pulled up and we started talking about where we could go for pictures. As soon as the dad suggested the cabin site, I knew it was going to be breath taking! Luckily they let me jump in their truck with them, because I don’t think my car could have made it up there.
The view from the top of the mountain was unbelievable. You could see all of Cache Valley! They started telling me stories about all the times they had been on this drive up the mountain and I instantly felt like a part of the family.
