Book Store First Date
Can’t wait to share these Utah snow engagements! I got to meet Grace at a wedding last year! I was so happy to hear that she found her soulmate! Grace and Statler met while working the same job at BYU! There was one fateful day that they were both assigned to the same task and that task was waiting for a delivery that never came. That meant they got to sit and chat for a few hours, while on the clock. They ended up going on a first date! The plan they had fell through so Grace suggested heading to Barnes and Noble. They both love to read so they went back and forth showing each other their favorite books and talking about them. They even started putting sticky notes in them for the future readers. The date was one of their favorites and even spent hours talking over ice cream afterwards. They have grown closer and closer ever since! I share their love of books as well so basically I’m stealing that first date idea for someday in the future.
Their proposal was so sweet I just have to share it in Grace’s own words! “We went around to all the significant places for us like where we’ve had our first date and here we started dating and such and at each place we wrote on a notecard a memory we had. Then we went to where we met, which was at work so in one of the lobby’s of a concert hall in the Fine arts building, and up the stairs past all the doors to enter the theater there’s a bench and a little alcove so we were up there talking and going through the notecards and it turns out a year ago was hen he first asked me on a date then he goes “a year ago today I asked you on our first date and tonight I want to ask a different question” and then he got on one knee and asked and I flipped and said yes and then we hugged and kissed and it’s great.”
Utah Snow Engagements
I could talk to these two about books and life forever and ever! We had a blast hanging out for engagements and exploring up at Tibble Fork! They even told me they are taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace class and I couldn’t be more jealous! These guys are just two people that fit together so well. I can’t wait for their wedding coming up in April!
