These two made my cheeks hurt from laughing so much behind the camera. They were so fun, silly and natural together. I think they felt the opposite because posing together in front of your photographer and parents doesn’t always feel natural, but I loved the way they just flowed together the entire time. Matt’s aunt and uncle are Haylee’s next door neighbors and godparents. They ran into each other a few times during and again after college. But didn’t begin talking daily until about a year ago over email while Matt was serving in the peace corps in Ethiopia. They have not stopped talking since. They went on a date the night Matt got back to the US from Africa. They weren’t planning on meeting for a week or so after he got home, to give him time with family and such, but they couldn’t wait. They went on a drive to one of my favorite spots in our hometown, a little lake, and talked and skipped rocks. I loved heading up to their hometown in Preston and taking pictures on Matt’s property. It was a dream up there in those Idaho Mountains. I think I could get used to being an Idaho Wedding Photographer!
