A little bit of sparklers, tasty food, some cars and a couple of fireworks made for a very fun weekend with our friends. On Thursday we went to the big USU firework show with the Rigbys and Calls. Brody had SO much fun chasing the other kids, kicking the ball and obsessing over Uncle “ick.” He loved to watch the sparklers, but wasn’t a big fan of holding them. The glowsticks and fireworks were his favorite. On Friday, we decided to keep it chill instead of smashing all we could into one day. In the morning we met the Metz at the Cache Valley Car Show. The boys loved the cars, dancing and Brody would not let Tris walk without holding his hand. After our long fourth of July nap, we met back up for a delicious bbq. Then, the boys hung out at one house while Whitney and I watched a movie and talked in the other. It was a very successful Maughan Independence Day weekend. We are so thankful for all the men and women serving our country, especially our brother Brady, who is currently deployed. #proudamericanfamily
