Disclaimer: The couple below is a true, engaged couple, not hired models! :) I’m so happy to be sharing these pictures with you, since they are some of my favorites from this year! Mike and Jenna are perfect together and fiercely in-love. I’ve known Mike for a long time, and he hit the jackpot when he met Jenna. It was fate on that summer night when he headed to stop by a friend’s house to say “Happy Birthday,” and it was the girl of his dreams who opened the door; Jenna. She is kind, happy and such a hard worker! She will be the best wife. Their first date was a fairytale horse back ride up the mountains. Dreamy, huh? Well, she made sure to mention that the second date was a family reunion with his entire family in Bear Lake. What can he say? It worked! 

This winter has been a photographer’s dream! Clean white snow falls about every other night, and it has made the valley so beautiful!! The best investment I’ve made this winter has been my snow boots since its not unusual for me to be standing in 1-3 feet of snow during a given photoshoot. Let’s just say, Mike and Jenna made the most of their snowy engagement session. It was so fun going on an adventure to find beautiful scenery in Sardine Canyon, with large landscapes and LOTS of snow. I love it when pictures are important to my brides. Seeing that Jenna so excited to work with me made me want to give her the best pictures possible! She was so thoughtful and intentional about her professional make-up, stellar outfits and accessories, and it all came together for stunning photographs! My favorite part was asking them to climb a huge bank of snow to walk out into a field of snow, probably 8 feet deep. They did it without hesitation, even though we were all laughing each time one of us started sinking or became off balance. Jenna took that as her chance to tackle Mike into the snow for a quick kiss. That’s my kind of bride! Enjoy!
