Salt Lake City Winter Engagements | Andi & Gavin

Talk about the greatest couple ever. I’ve only ever shot engagements in 13 degree weather twice. Once was last year in January and the other was last Saturday with Andi & Gavin. They didn’t even let the cold phase them. They were just so happy and giddy to be taking their engagement pictures.

Andi and Gavin got engaged in the snowy mountains so she wanted to keep that theme for her engagements. We NAILED the location!! I have been to Tibble Fork in the winter, but HOLY! The morning light is so so different than the evening light. If anyone asks me about Tibble Fork I will for sure tell them to shoot there in the morning! I couldn’t get over how stunning it was!

We switched locations after I FELL in the frozen lake! I’m not sure if I stepped in a hole from an ice fisher or if the layer of ice was soft but I got wet up to my knee and after that we were freaked out about being on the lake so we went and found some deep pine trees and I felt like I was shooting in Narnia! SO PRETTY!!
