Say what you will about social media and it not representing real life and whatnot but I have to say that some of my newest and best relationships have started and grown there this year!! Back when I was just starting out on this adventure with KAP, Lindsee came across my Instagram page and emailed me. She saw a potential in my early work and booked me for her 10 year anniversary portraits 7 MONTHS in advance. Lindsee is a planner and it rained on her wedding day so this was the perfect chance for some updated portraits. Through out these past few months I’ve built a fun relationship via social media, following along with all her summer adventures with her boys–so much so that when I finally got to meet her in person, I felt like I already knew her and her hubby. Lindsee and Rob have one of the cutest and most refreshing relationships I’ve had the chance to be around this year. They met me up at Tony’s Grove for their date night/photo shoot, and we had a blast chatting, exploring and I think they LOVED the time just gazing into each other’s eyes and getting to smooch a little without their three boys pulling on their legs. I hang out with engaged couples and newlyweds all the time, but I have to say that there was a super special spirit around these two and what they were celebrating with these portraits. They’ve weathered the storms for 10 years now and they are not only devoted spouses but the best of friends. And can we just talk about their style? So fresh and trendy. I loved getting a peek into their love and getting to see them reconnect and relax on an evening in the mountains. I think 10 year anniversary sessions just topped the list of my favorite sessions. Congrats Lindsee and Rob!! Can’t wait til 11 year portraits! ;)
