Bear Lake Overlook Family Photos | Driggs Extended Family Session

Bear Lake Overlook Family Photos | Driggs Extended Family Session

The Driggs family chose the perfect spot for their session with Bear Lake Overlook Family Photos. Spending a week together at the lake, they wanted to capture their time in one of the most stunning locations around. The overlook offers breathtaking views of Bear Lake, especially in the morning when the light is soft and the air feels fresh. It was the ideal setting to highlight both the scenery and the love within their family.

Bear Lake Overlook Family Photos in the Morning Light

Morning sessions are some of my favorites, and this one proved why. The overlook gave us endless beauty to work with—trees filtering the light, rolling hills, and the lake shimmering in the background. We started with full group portraits, then worked into smaller family units, couples, and tender grandparent moments. Everyone was relaxed and cheerful, and the kids were full of energy. The setting made the photos feel both timeless and natural.

A Week of Summer Memories

The Driggs family had traveled from several states to be together. Their week was filled with Bear Lake traditions: days on the beach, hiking trails, go-karts, fishing, and cheering at Pickleville Playhouse. And of course, no trip was complete without those famous raspberry shakes. This session gave them a way to freeze the joy of that week beyond just the fun activities.

Why the Overlook is a Dream Location

What makes this spot so special is how versatile it is for big families. It feels peaceful yet delivers a “wow” factor in every photo. The overlook is easy to access, which makes it perfect for grandparents and little kids alike. The natural beauty pairs perfectly with candid, playful moments, giving families a gallery that’s polished but still real.

Photos That Last Longer Than the Vacation

Bear Lake is full of fun experiences, but photos are what bring those memories home for years to come. The Driggs family now has a gallery filled with connection, laughter, and legacy. It tells the story of a beautiful summer week spent together in one of Utah’s most iconic locations.
