Big Cottonwood Canyon Engagement Session
Meet Jenny and Richard! You will love his suit coat engagement Outfit! They met on their first day of orientation for their Ph.D. programs at Notre Dame. Jenny is studying English and Richard is studying complex mathematics. Being around them for 5 min, I felt smarter! 😂😂 Their paths kept crossing and they found out they lived pretty near each other. They didn’t know many other people and they just clicked! It started out as friendship and spent tons of time together, including cooking meals together and all the PhD events!
Halloween Date Night
It kind of became a joke of whether they would ever go on a date together, and right before Halloween they did. That date included going to a nice restaurant in South Bend. They also made jack-o-lanterns and it went well enough that it ended in a kiss… which began their beautiful relationship! They have gone on trips together and always have fun together!
Amazing Proposal
That was almost 2 years ago! Richard proposed a few weeks ago! He laid out a master plan to propose to Jenny. Using many cover plans, and the help of her best friend they set a plan in motion that included “fake dinner” reservations and a full dinner set up in a meadow near a special tree swing. Even though Jenny found some bread crumbs to be a little on the look out for the ring, Richard provided her the perfect evening, complete with lights, flowers and desert! Jenny said it was her dream proposal!
Suit Coat Engagement Outfit
We headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon for engagements! They knocked it out of the park with outfits! Unfortunately the bugs chased us out of the lake eventually, but we loved getting to explore the wonders of this canyon. I loved seeing how well they know each other and how happy they are together. We even saw a mama moose with two babies at the end of the shoot! They are getting married this Fall and I can’t wait! Everyone say a prayer that Richard’s parents and family will be able to travel to the US from England!
