Family photo day is exciting, but it can also be a little stressful — especially with kids in tow! As your Cache County family photographer, I have a few tips to make the experience fun for everyone.

First, keep it relaxed. Let your kids know that it’s all about having fun together. Practice a few silly poses at home to get them excited! On the day of the shoot, make sure they’re fed and well-rested. Snacks and water are lifesavers for keeping energy up.

Bring a favorite toy or blanket for comfort, and don’t stress about perfection. Some of the best photos come from candid moments — laughter, hugs, and those natural family interactions.

Most importantly, let’s keep the mood light. When the kids see you having fun, they’ll follow suit. Together, we’ll capture memories your family will cherish forever.
