I never wanted to move to Utah because I was spoiled in the PNW with green trees and lush plants. I always thought Utah was too dry for such beauty. But now, I think Cache Valley is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I love it in the fall, especially. These Cache Valley fall mini sessions are absolutely stunning
Fall is literally the most perfect time of the year to do pictures. Because somehow every type of outfits work.
Color. Every single color of the rainbow looks fabulous in the fall. Whether you wear neutral colors, pastels, bright or even cool dark colors… Everything looks amazing. And everything looks in season.
There’s still enough light in the sky that you can make short sleeves, dresses and shorts work. But there’s enough cool colors on the earth that you could also wear layers and sweaters and boots.
Fall is a time of transition. It’s time to move from the chaos of summer into the structure and routine school brings. And then to slow down even further as the holiday season approaches. Even though every single family situation is unique, and everyone has their own Way of doing things, I think that fall is a time to cool down. (Literally). It can forces us to bring our attention to things that matter most. Our health, our learning, our relationships. It unifies people even as we genuinely become more physically distant.
