Extended Family Pictures in Eden | Stoneman Family

I had such a good time meeting and photographing the Stoneman family! They decided to get extended family pictures taken while they were on a family vacation together in Eden. I’m so glad they did! Since they didn’t know the address of where they were staying until the day before, we didn’t decide on a location for photos beforehand. I decided to drive up a little early and see what pretty spots I could find! I found this beautiful open spot next to the community pool and then headed to the house where the family was staying to tell them the good news! Right when I got there they welcomed me in like part of the family. They said they had found a beautiful spot next to the pool and decided they wanted to go there. I couldn’t believe it was the same place! It was just about a 30 second drive from their house and had the most beautiful overlook along with shaded grass.

The Stonemans were quick to laugh and giggle with each other during our sessoin. I love photographing extended families because it’s so fun to see all of the relationships! The grandchildren were so happy to play with mom and dad, aunts and uncles, or grandma and grandpa. The grown siblings joked around together and easily added in-laws into the fun. When one of the granddaughters wanted to say “Pikachou” instead of “cheese”, everyone played along and make sure she was happy! I love extended family relationships!

I’m so glad I was able to do this session for this family. The Stonemans said they don’t get together very often, which is the case with a lot of families. It’s so important to get pictures when you can! I hope that future generations can look back on these and know that they come from a legacy of love and fun!  Enjoy!
