Extended Family Utah Session

Saesha booked a session with us for the perfect extended family utah session! Everyone had coordinated their outfits SO WELL! Our favorite Wellsville Family Session Location was the perfect meeting place for everyone and we found the most beautiful spot to shoot them in.

The weather has held out amazingly for us this fall family session season, and we were able to squeeze a whole extended family session out of a breezy fall afternoon!

FAMILY SESSION YELLOW AND BLUE OUTFITS

Coordinating an extended family sessions outfits is no joke! They all pulled it off so well though. Tans, whites, blues, and yellows with a couple touches of olive green. Everyone looked great! Whether it was an individual family shot, a couple, or pairings, they all looked great together. The colors were the perfect pop on our wheat grass hill backdrop.

Keeping kids warm at family sessions

One thing I always keep in the back of my truck during family photo season is a blanket! It’s perfect for a quick sit down shot, or to wrap up chilly kids. I’m always glad I have it! We made good use of it here-making sure everyone was warm and happy! Hand warmers are another great thing to bring along if you know it’ll be chilly. I also love just keeping kids moving! Skipping up and down the hill, running to Mom and attack hugging, seeing how high they can jump! Anything that keeps their hearts pumping so they’re staying warm! And if you do treats afterward, hot chocolate is the perfect incentive.

We always get the look and smile shots, which are necessary and wonderful!! AND we love showing off your families personality too. Saesha’s dad kept us laughing with muscle shots and point-at-the-son-in-law shots. Little Charlie and Addie were giggly and playful!! I love showing you how sweet your family looks while they have fun together!
