I started by photography business shortly after I graduated high school after moving from Washington to Utah. I didn’t start with weddings. In fact, my first real title was ‘Logan, Utah Senior Photographer’ – since so many of my first clients were Logan Utah seniors. I don’t spent as much time doing seniors personally, now that I have associates on my team who do. But in some rare occasions (usually when family graduates), I do.
Emmas senior session was a special and rare occasion. My friends came all the way from Washington, to Utah for the first time. It was so fun, after all this time living here, to show my friends around Logan. I even took them to a spin class with me, gave them the house & studio tour, and made them try all my favorite (delicious) food places in town.
Logan Utah Senior Photographer
Since I’ve been a photographer for Logan, Utah seniors for so long, it was easy to find a variety of fun places to go besides the typical locations. Emma had such gorgeous outfits, we had to find the perfect place to match the vibes for each of her outfits. I think they turned out stunning!
Return to High School
My best friend in high school was Brianna. We were always together – Lauren, Brianna and I. Her family became my family. Terry, her mom, also became a close friend. (I think we got into just as much trouble with Terri as we did with Brianna). We did chores over there, decorated the house for all the kids birthday parties, went to baseball, basketball, football games, and our fave tradition was family dinner at Happy T. We continued that tradition for years, even after we moved away.
Emma (not to be confused with my biological little sister Emmalee) became like another little sister to me in high school. So 10 years later, after being separated for so long, I couldn’t believe how beautiful and grown up Emma was. I’ve seen her on social media but being around her and seeing how she’s matured was so fun.
It was SO FUN to see Emma and Terri after so long. It was like nothing has changed since high school — and we immediately jumped right back into the swing of things. It was so sad to see them leave & I can’t wait to see them all again.
Emma – you’re beautiful. Congratulations on graduating! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
