Logan Utah Winter Engagements | Chantelle & Kaleb

I think the best part about getting married in Utah is that you get to experience the different seasons throughout your engagement. How fun that these two got to have snowy engagements. When we do their first look the first flowers will be blooming. Their wedding will be a summer wedding, okay summer wedding might be pushing it. But sometimes it feels like spring only lasts for 2 weeks here in Utah.

I think all of us Kylee Ann Photographers have a soft spot for Logan love stories because we all love Cache Valley so much. Chantelle and Kaleb met at Utah State University. I thought it would be fun to share their love story below.

How Did They Meet?

Chantelle has competed on USU’s Speech and Debate team for the past 3 years. This year, Kaleb joined them! The first time they talked one-on-one, Chantelle helped him with his speech. They went to Staples to get legal pads for debate and ended up stopping to pet some dogs that were for sale. That’s the first time Chantelle remembered noticing how cute he was.

Where was their first date?

It didn’t start as a date! They went to get frozen yogurt after debate practice, went for a drive through Logan Canyon, and then watched a movie at my apartment. Dating that sparks from friendship is so natural and I love when brides have stories like this.

How did he propose?

They were on the bridge at Second Dam, a Logan hot spot, and one of their favorite places to go for a casual stroll. It was very simple and just the two of them. That’s exactly what Chantelle wanted so she was over the moon happy.
