My favorite time of year: Mini Sessions in the Lilacs in Cache Valley Utah! Those gorgeous rows of lilac trees are magnificent on their own. But then you add a gorgeous family in front of them, and bam. Most beautiful thing EVER.

These lilac trees are on private land that we have permission to shoot in every spring. When they are in bloom, the owner sends me a text so we hit it at the perfect time.

Her dress! Those bright colors! The gorgeous light!

I took maternity pictures of Courtney a few years ago with her sweet little girl. We shot them at Zollinger Tree Farm. The entrance used to have a long row of trees. When we started shooting her pictures again in front of the row of lilacs, it was like de ja vu!

I love that she wore a gorgeous, bold colored dress! The orange looked SO good with the big purple flowers.

These four melt my whole heart. This brother and sister duo is so cute with each other. My favorite shot from the whole session is the two of them hand in hand running down the lane.

I love their soft colors. It makes for the most romantic scene for family pictures.
