Newport LDS Temple Wedding + Cake by the Ocean | Jensen & Austen

Newport LDS Temple Wedding + Cake by the Ocean | Jensen & Austen

Listen, I’ve seen a lot of beautiful weddings—but Jensen and Austen’s day was straight-up magic. Like, if Nicholas Sparks had a beach house in Newport, magic. Between the floral dress, the “our dads were besties” origin story, and the sunset cake moment? I was fully not okay (in the best way) during this Newport LDS Temple Wedding.

Childhood Friends

Let’s start with the fact that their dads were childhood friends. Yes, you read that right. These two basically grew up with legacy-level family bonding. If there were ever a wedding where the guest list gave “nostalgic, small-town rom-com”—this was it.

And instead of a giant production, they kept it chill. Close family. Tight-knit friends. The kind of wedding where everyone actually wants to give a toast because they genuinely love you. We love to see it.

From Temple Portraits to Beach Cake Goals

We started the day at the Newport LDS Temple, which, honestly, was giving “heaven meets SoCal architecture.” The light? Stunning. The couple? Glowing. Me? Sweating but thriving.

Then we headed to Corona Del Mar Beach where—get this—they had cake by the ocean. CAKE. BY. THE. OCEAN. (DNCE, call them if you want a reboot.) The breeze was perfect, the ocean was sparkling, and the entire moment was giving “you can’t script this.”

A Dress with Petals

Now, let’s talk about Jensen’s flowery dress. It wasn’t just pretty—it was art. She looked like a walking garden in the best way possible. Floral without being too frilly, romantic without trying too hard. 10/10, would photograph again.

The whole day was filled with support, laughter, and the kind of love that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Every single family member brought hype energy and helpful vibes, which is basically a wedding photographer’s love language.

Jensen and Austen, you crushed it. Thank you for letting me third-wheel your dream day. I’m still replaying the beach cake moment like a core memory.
