Jasilyn is such a sweet mother. Family pictures can be really stressful. Jasilyn did everything to bring her kids as happy as can be. She gave them both naps, let them know what family pictures were going to be like, and let me take charge once they arrived. It was really tender to watch Jasilyn & Christopher talk so gently to Timothy & Lavinia the ENTIRE session. They were patient. They explained what family pictures were going to be like.

After about 25 minutes the kids were definitely ready to be done. Jasilyn & Christopher didn’t push the kids to keep going. They just let them run around and kept taking candid pictures.

Lavinia didn’t want to be held, but she was so happy when she was running around in the grass. She has the most playful personality and even warmed up to me pretty quickly.

Timothy was only 3 years old but speaking in complete sentences. I was amazed with how smart he is. He listened to everything I said, and loved putting his hands in his pockets to pose. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect three-year-old.

My favorite part of the entire session was the five minutes we spent at the end photographing Jasilyn and Christopher. I know that couple pictures can be awkward once you have kids. You don’t get a lot of time to yourself. You are focused on raising these beautiful children. But Jasilyn put in her questionnaire that she always wants her kids to know that their parents love each other and we sure captured that. I’m so glad we capture the love between these two!
