Preston Idaho Sunflower Family Mini | Darley Family

It was such a joy to see the Darley family again for their Preston, Idaho sunflower family mini session. We had tried for sunflower photos in the past, but the blooms weren’t at their best. This year totally made up for it! The flowers were stunning, and the golden light was perfect.

The Darleys always bring the sweetest energy, and it’s so fun to capture their connection. Even in a short mini session, we got smiles, snuggles, and everything in between. The kids were relaxed and playful, and Mom and Dad were just soaking up this precious time together.

I could tell how much it meant to them to get good photos this year, especially after feeling like last year’s session wasn’t quite what they hoped for. That kind of trust means everything to me. It pushed me to go above and beyond to capture exactly what they envisioned—and more!

We played little games, chased light, and let the kids be themselves. Those in-between moments where laughter bubbles up or a kiddo leans in for a snuggle? Those are the gold. And we got so many of them.
