This session with the Skeen family was awesome from start to finish. Their energy, their connection, and their two adorable pups made it one of the most heartwarming sessions I’ve had in a while. We chose Snowbasin as our location, and it was the perfect backdrop for their fall family session. Shanee and her wife brought their son, who is clearly the light of their lives. He has the most genuine smile, and you can tell he feels completely supported and loved by his two amazing moms. Their family dynamic was so fun to photograph—full of laughter, cuddles, and even a few playful puppy moments. Yes, they brought both their dog and their new little puppy, and it was everything!

We captured everything from posed family shots to playful candids and solo puppy portraits. I left with the fullest heart and the biggest smile. Sessions like this remind me why I do what I do. Families are all beautifully different, and it’s such an honor to celebrate that through photos.
