Utah County Florists
As a wedding photographer I have been able to work with 3 of the top Utah County florists! Nannette, Mandy, and Melinda are some of the most gifted floral artists I know. They all have my highest recommendation. This guide will give you a little insight to my personal experience with them as well as examples of their work with my Kylee Ann Brides!
Before you contact your potential florists, it is important to have an idea of what you are wanting. The size and color of your bouquet and if you are wanting any other wedding floral such as bridesmaids bouquets, table centerpieces, or boutonnieres. For inspirations you can view my || The Floral || Pinterest page here.
Next you will want to view florists’s past work and see if their style matches with your dream wedding. Keep in mind that the more flower arrangements you want, the more expensive it will be. After you have an idea of what you want, contact 2+ florists for price estimates. Trust me, you are sure to have the freshest and most vibrant floral with any of these three talented ladies!
Sleepy Ridge with Nannette York
If I were to describe my style with flowers, it would be Nannette’s work. It is so exciting for me when my bride’s dream bouquet is actually my dream bouquet too! Both of my KA brides, Olivia and Lindsey, had wonderful experiences with Nannette. Just look at the pictures of her work, who wouldn’t be in love? The overhanging greenery is definitely one of her strengths. She takes what looks like leafs and twigs to me and creates this gorgeous piece of art that both of my brides will treasure forever.
Nannette is based out of Sleepy Ridgde Golf Course in Orem but serves Utah County, Salt Lake County, and surrounding areas. She is a wonderful person and talented artist! If I was had the chance to redo my wedding, she would be my first call!
Potted Pansy with Mandy
If I had one word to describe Mandy, it would be PASSION. Her dream job is designing wedding floral; she absolutely loves what she does. Mandy is excited to meet with her brides and then together create that magical bouquet. Every detail down to the last twig is perfect and in place. Seriously, I can’t begin to explain how talented she is. But don’t take my word for it, the passion she has for her work shows.
The Potted Pansy Floral Design Co. is located in Pleasant Grove at 874 E. 1150 W. Every design is custom and each piece of her arrangement is there to highlight the couple. My KA bride, Cara, had a pretty good idea of what she wanted in floral. And Mandy created a work of art that went above and beyond even Cara’s dream bouquet! Everyone is still talking about how incredible it was. I get butterflies just thinking about the Potted Pansy’s work. They get my highest recommendation.
The Northampton House with Melinda McLain
The Northampton House is a high-end classical venue. Shooting a wedding here was an absolute dream! They practically took care of the entire wedding including the floral, created by Melinda McLain. Melinda is so sweet. She knew exactly what Cori was envisioning and brought it to real life. This fresh orange bouquet could not have described Cori’s bright, popping personality any better!
The Northampton House is located at 198 W 300 N in American Fork. A great venue with one talented florist!
