Bride Tip | Ombre Bridesmaid Dresses

Choosing my ombre bridesmaid dresses might have been my favorite part of planning my wedding! I knew I wanted each of by besties to be in a unique dress that fit their personality, but I ultimately wanted to choose the dress. There was a wide range of ages in the girls that would be by my side from 12 years old to over 30. That was also a huge reason I needed something that was unique to everyone. As I was searching, the idea of mauve ombre bridesmaids dress came to me and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined!

Choosing Your Bridesmaid Dress Color

My wedding colors were mauve, deep purple, light pink, green, white, and rose gold. I knew I needed to choose just one of these colors to create the perfect ombre. My all-time favorite color is mauve, so it only made sense.

Bridesmaid Dress Planning

I started scouring all of my favorite online boutiques, finding dresses than matched my ombre vision, and pasting copies of each dress in a doc to see them all together. After I narrowed it down to my favorite eleven. I sent the document out to all my bridesmaids, let them choose their top three, and I made the final decision. It was so fun to have a variety of the same color by my side in all my pictures. My bridesmaids loved having a choice and I loved seeing my vision come to life!
