Arizona Maternity Family Session | Larson Family
As a photographer, there are few things as heartwarming and rewarding as capturing the precious moments of a growing family. Maternity sessions are often filled with anticipation, excitement, and love, but when you add proud siblings to the mix, it becomes so much more magical! I feel honored that I got to capture the growing Larson Family on my most recent trip to Arizona! Ryan is my cousin (more like my big brother, really) and Samantha is one of my very best friends! They’re expecting their third little girl, and Aunt Abi cannot wait to snuggle her! These sweet big sisters are so excited and boy are they proud!
Why should you include the whole family in your maternity session:
1. Capturing the Complete Story:
Including siblings and family members in your maternity session allows you to capture the complete story of your growing family. It’s not just about the parents-to-be; it’s about the entire family unit eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new baby!
2. Celebrating Sibling Bonding:
Maternity sessions with siblings provide an opportunity to capture the unique bond between brothers and sisters. Whether it’s a gentle kiss on the baby bump, a whispered secret, or a playful embrace, these interactions reflect the love and connection that will only continue to grow as the siblings embark on their journey together. These images serve as a beautiful testament to the sibling bond and the special role each child plays in the family.
3. Creating a Sense of Inclusion:
Including siblings and family members in the maternity session helps create a sense of inclusion and involvement for everyone. It allows siblings to feel like an integral part of the pregnancy journey and helps them form a deeper connection with their soon-to-arrive sibling.
4. Preserving Memories for Generations:
Ultimately, including the whole family in your maternity session ensures that you’re preserving memories that will be cherished for generations to come. These images serve as a beautiful reminder of the love, joy, and anticipation surrounding the arrival of a new family member. They capture a fleeting time and allow you to reflect for generations to come!
