Bride Tip | Enjoy Your Cold Wedding Day
I experienced how to enjoy a cold wedding day first hand! My wedding day was the first snow of the year. Brrrr. Luckily, I knew it was very possible for the weather to be freezing in November in Logan, Utah. I was mentally prepared.
Wedding Day Cold Weather Prep
Bring coats, umbrellas, and hand warmers! The whole wedding party came prepared with jackets, coats, and umbrellas. Those were a must! My amazing photographers, Kylee & Hiliary, brought hand warmers for everyone, too! While we were outside taking pictures my guests huddled up in their coats and hung on tight to their hand warmers until it was their turn for pictures. I don’t know how we would have done it without! It was reeealllllly cold, but the pictures turned out sooo amazing!
Inside Wedding Venue
I know how amazing outdoor wedding venues can be. The good news is, there are venues that are just as pretty inside! I didn’t even risk booking an outdoor only venue, but I chose The Riter Mansion where I could open the carriage doors to the beautiful courtyard if the weather permitted. It was way too cold for that. The florals I added around the room and the warm feel of the venue totally made up for it! My guests were warm and my wedding was just as I imagined.
