Caroline wasn’t even supposed to go to the same high school as Billy. But fate intervened and he was one of the first people that Caroline met at that school. She was attracted to him from the beginning but had to wait for him to become single. She finally got the chance to ask him to the girls choice dance at school. That night they actually got hitched and have the picture to prove it. As high school ended, they realized they were falling in love, but that they had a long timeline ahead of them before they could get married due to school and living apart for a few years. They got engaged for a few years, went through some hard times and then got engaged again a few years later! When November 7th, 2016 finally came, it was a true celebration of two families officially coming together. You could tell by the atmosphere that everyone loved these love birds. Their ceremony was special and intimate. Only their closest friends and family were in attendance. They brought in 3 large chandeliers that really set the romantic mood. Their vows were funny and sincere. Billy’s dad got licensed to marry them and there was no one else they would have wanted to marry them. I loved getting to interact with their extended family- everyone was so loving and kind. They chose to get married on a Monday so Billy’s sister who plays college volleyball could attend. My favorite part of the night was the speeches and songs sung to the couple. This wedding really focused on what was important and real. The love that has grown between these two. I was honored to get to photograph this amazing wedding. Enjoy!
