Courtney and Tanner decided to have their bridals done at Albion Basin. Albion Basin Bridals might me my favorite summer event! Albion can be pretty packed and hard to navigate if you’ve never been. We suggest getting there early to park or bringing a third person who can drop you off and drive around in loops until they find a parking spot. I told Courtney it would be busy, but it’s so gorgeous and I think we made the right choice in going! The wild flowers scaled the mountainside covering it with little bursts of color. Tanner was one of my sweetest grooms ever. The first pictures Courtney posted from their session were all the ones of Tanner. I loved that Courntey gave Tanner so much positive feedback while I was taking his pictures. It doesn’t feel natural at all to be in front of the camera and most grooms hate it. Courtney just kept telling Tanner how cute he is and I think it worked, because we got some GREAT smiles! They love each other so much! They both made each other smile so big in all of their pictures. I love how much they giggled with each other.
One of my favorite things about photography is meeting and connecting with so many people. Courtney found me on a mutual friend’s instagram account. I had taken her family pictures and from there Courtney hired me to be her wedding photographer! I went to the same high school as Courtney, just 7 years earlier. I never thought I’d become a Layton Utah wedding photographer.
