McKay and Whitney share a simple love. They both grew up in small town Cache Valley, Utah. They both love life and have a passion for fun. McKay has a way of turning everything into a game. He keeps Whitney on her toes, but mostly he just loves to spoil her and make her smile. McKay proposed on the bench overlooking the Logan Temple by tackling her to the ground and tickling her until she listed off 10 cereal names before he got on his knee and proposed. It’s stories like these that make love seem so real and fun. The day of their bridals came with an insane wind storm. We watched the weather, but there was no chance for a break in the storm. We made the best of the situation, and I called in a favor to be able to shoot on the temple grounds on a day that is usually not available. The day was so pretty, but the air was so cold. Whitney and McKay snuggled to keep as much warmth as they could. Whitney looked stunning in her Petals and Promises dress. The flowy material was so romantic in the snow and the lace sleeves were the perfect accent. Plant Peddler hit it out of the park on this soft pink bouquet! McKay was rocking the dark blue suit with the floral tie. When he turned around to see Whitney for the first time, his happy smile said it all. I love their love. These two are getting sealed in the Logan Utah Temple today and I’m so thrilled to spend the day with them and their families! Oh and P.S. If McKay looks familiar, don’t be surprised. He’s been told he looks like Brad Pitt on a few occasions. ;)
