Mariah was new to the area and Mike had lived in Bountiful his whole life. He suddenly had the feeling like he should attend the Single’s Ward and that’s where he met Mariah. Mariah works at a library in SLC and loves her job. Mike just started a new job as an electrician working on LDS Temples. A few weeks ago, they went on a hike in Bountiful, where they saw a couple with sparkling cider and a blanket with roses and a photographer. They recognized the couple getting engaged as friends from the ward. As they approached to congratulate them, Mike whispered in his friends ear that he was planning to propose too. He asked if they would take a photo of them as well, when he got down on his knee and proposed right then and there to Mariah. She was so surprised and said yes right away! It might be the best double proposal I’ve ever heard of!!! Mike’s job takes him out of town often so we were lucky to get engagements done on a day without rain. They drove up to Logan, and it was the prettiest day. We caught the perfect afternoon without rain, and Mariah did amazing with the outfits. They were giggly and happy, and we were chatting all about their wedding plans. They are having a party complete with a bounce house and cotton candy and I can’t wait! Enjoy!
