Over the summer I had the pleasure of capturing the Seamons family for a family photo session in Logan Canyon. This crew is made up of three energetic boys and one baby girl, so needless to say, I was excited to see how it all went down!

The Seamons family wore coordinating dark colors for their photo session which looked amazing against the mountain backdrop! We started out with some group shots before breaking off into individual photos of each family member. The kids were so well-behaved, despite the hot weather we were experiencing that day. We kept the session short and sweet in order to avoid any meltdowns but managed to capture some beautiful shots along the way. I was especially impressed by the youngest son who was willing to smile on command – even though he was clearly tired from all the excitement. It was such a joy capturing this family in action and watching them interact with each other!

The location we chose for their session provided a perfect backdrop for their photos – with stunning mountains and trees in every direction. We managed to dodge any rain clouds that day which meant we had plenty of natural light for our photos. I’m always amazed by how much more vibrant my photos turn out when there’s natural sunlight involved – and this shoot was no exception!

All in all, it was an enjoyable experience photographing such a wonderful family. Even though our session only lasted 30 minutes, we captured some beautiful memories that they can now cherish forever!
