One of the most important parts of flawless make up application is keeping your blushes clean. Bacteria can easily live on make up brushes. This causes acne break outs and possibilities of infections and rashes of all sorts.
PLUS, when your make up brushes are filled with product, they won’t spread your make up as smooth and light as they’re supposed to. I recommend cleaning your brushes once a week! If you share your brushes with others, wash between every use!
How to Clean Your Make Up Brushes:
1. Restore Brush Cleaner
Whether you use Maskcara or not, their Restore Brush Cleaner is the BEST cleaner I have ever found. Not only does it clean and sanitize, but it conditions your brushes, too. Also, it smells HEAVENLY.
The best part about Restore Brush Cleaner is that it dries instantly!! This is so important when you are doing make up on multiple faces with the same brushes!
2. Face Cleansing Bar
Another option is using a Face Cleansing Bar. Lay out a towel or a paper towel next to your sink. Start the water, and keep it cold. Brush your brushes against the cleansing bar under the water until the water runs clean. Lay them to dry on the towels overnight!
