Chaia and McKay are married!! Chaia and McKay were sealed for time and all eternity in the SLC Temple on a raining May day! This temple is one of my personal faves. It was crazy busy since all the Utah colleges are now done with school, but that is the magic of May wedding season!! Its electric and there is no place I’d rather be on a Saturday. Chaia and McKay were greeted by their friends and family as the exited the temple and their faces were about to break from smiling so big. The rain didn’t even seem to bother them, Chaia was just so happy to be married! We did the famous family stair shots and then used the Joseph Smith Memorial building as our rain cover backup plan! Then we took the wedding day lap around the temple!! Shooting at this temple so often has made a master at knowing all the best places and angles. I love this couple so much and their love was exuding out of them their entire wedding day! Their reception was amazing and simple, just like they are. They held a special ring ceremony where they honored their parents and marriage in the sweetest ways. It was a blast seeing all the people who came to support them at their reception. I loved following all the little kids around and photographing the cute details. It’s always so fun to peek into a families’ special occasion. Everyone I came in contact with was so kind to me and it meant so much!! My favorite part of the night was when McKay’s dad surprised him with a yellow sports car for their get away! I’m so excited for these two to begin their adventure together!!
