Meridian Temple Wedding | Allie & Dillan

Meridian Temple Wedding | Allie & Dillan

This Meridian Temple Wedding was a blast! Allie & Dillan are such a fun couple! We did their bridals at Jordan Pines few weeks before their wedding day and they were absolutely giddy. It wasn’t hard at all to get genuine laughs and giggles. The way that Dillan looks at Allie is so adoring. When he gets goofy she laughs so hard! It’s so fun to see their love come through in their photos!

I met Allie through my close friend Celeste, who is Allie’s sister. I had known Celeste for years before I met any of her family and this was such a fun way to meet them! They were nice enough to let me stay at their house in Meridian the night before and after their wedding so I got to know Allie’s whole family! Let me just say, they are amazing. There was so much love in their home even through the craziness of getting ready for everything. I loved getting to see how they all pitched in, from playing with kids at home to spending hours setting up the details. Allie had her makeup professionally done in her home by @muabyangela and her hair done by @stylebykierstyn. She looked beyond stunning! I don’t know how Dillan didn’t faint when he saw her for the first time that day.

I love that Allie married a boy from Grantsville because I also married a boy from Grantsville! It’s been really fun to find connections between our two families! My brother-in-law, Scott, taught Dillan in high school. Grantsville is a super small town and I think Allie will love being a part of that community just like I have.

After the temple ceremony, we went to the nearby Stake Center for a luncheon with food prepared by Dillan’s parents. It was restaurant quality pulled-pork and pasta salad. They had leftovers and Allie’s mom Tracy immediately called the Relief Society President of their ward to see if there were any families who could use a meal. I loved seeing her example of thoughtfulness and service.

Allie & Dillan had their gorgeous reception at Rembrandt’s, just a few minutes away from the temple. Tracy did all of the decor for the reception herself and every detail was gorgeous! She set up a ton of beautiful live plants with lights and candles all around. It was definitely a labor of love! Rembrandt’s was a great venue with an easily controlled audio set-up for the music, a bar with employees pouring lemonade and soft drinks by request, delicious catered food, outdoor eating area, and a gorgeous big window to bring in some natural light that this photographer definitely appreciated. Their first dance was to “Yours” by Russel Dickerson. It brought tears to my eyes seeing the way they danced together for the first time as husband and wife.

Allie and Dillan did such a beautiful job planning out every detail of their day! I’m so happy for them and so glad I could be there for it!
