I’ve known Colin since he was just a kid, and watching him grow into the confident, stylish, and driven young man he is now made this session all the more meaningful.

Colin has always had a cool, laid-back vibe, so we wanted a location that matched his style. We started his shoot in a tucked-away alley downtown, filled with texture, lines, and a little bit of edge. The light was soft, the buildings gave us that perfect urban contrast, and Colin totally owned it. From sneakers to sunglasses, he brought his personality to every shot.

We wandered through a few streets and found pockets of Salt Lake that felt just right—mixing the gritty charm of the city with Colin’s clean, modern look. And as the sun started to drop, we made our way to Tunnel Springs Park for golden hour.

If you’ve never been to Tunnel Springs, picture rolling hills, open skies, and golden grass that absolutely glows at sunset. It was the perfect contrast to our downtown shots and gave Colin’s gallery so much variety. And can we talk about how effortlessly he transitioned from street-style cool to breezy, golden light? He made my job so easy.

Colin’s got big plans—he’s heading off to pharmacy school after graduation, and I just know he’s going to do incredible things. Getting to capture this milestone for someone I’ve known for so long was such a full-circle moment.
