When Gerber Baby Called Me to Photograph Their Holiday Campaign: A Pinch-Me Moment
By Kylee Ann Studios | Baby and Kid Product Photographer
I still can’t believe I’m typing this… GERBER. BABY. CALLED. ME.
Yes, that Gerber. The one with the iconic baby face that’s been a household name for more than a century. Even with their own in-house team and studio, they reached out to me for help with their holiday product photography campaign. And I’m still in shock.
This wasn’t just a random photoshoot. This was Gerber Baby, a brand that’s been nurturing babies since 1927. A company whose products line the shelves of nearly every store and home in America. A brand that literally created the baby food category and has since grown into one of the most trusted names in baby care. And they chose me.
Why Did Gerber Reach Out?
Despite their internal photography resources, they needed help with a specific project for Walmart and were slammed with holiday craziness.
As a baby and kid product photographer, I focus on creating clean, story-driven imagery that feels natural and high-end—like user-generated content, but with full control over quality and conversion. My studio is set up to handle everything: from prop styling and wardrobe to model sourcing and post-production. And Gerber saw that.
What This Meant to Me
Getting that call was a total pinch-me moment. I’ve photographed hundreds of baby brands—from startups to seven-figure companies—but this was Gerber. A 100+ year legacy brand. A symbol of childhood. It was such a full-circle moment to have them find me, trust me, and believe in my work.
There were moments during the shoot when I had to stop and breathe it all in. My team and I were styling Gerber products. We were selecting models. We were creating the magic that millions of people would see. What a responsibility. What an honor.
Let’s Talk Results
We delivered polished, heart-tugging, seasonal imagery that’s now being used for social media, email campaigns, and digital ads. Content that feels real, timeless, and full of joy—just like the Gerber Baby itself.
So What’s the Takeaway?
If Gerber—with all their resources and legacy—turned to me, it’s because there’s something powerful in finding the right fit for your product photography. You can have the biggest studio in the world, but it still comes down to:
Does your photographer know how to tell your story in a scroll-stopping way?
Do they understand how moms shop?
Can they produce consistent content that converts across platforms?
That’s what I do.
