Brand Photography that Stands out
We work with baby and kid brands every single day with over 100 brand shoots each month. ALL our brands have amazing products, so it’s easy to create gorgeous galleries for each of them. But I have noticed that a few of our brands go the extra mile, and get Brand Photography that Stands out from the crowd. Here’s what they do to stand out:
1. Create a mood board or Pinterest board
Create a simple compilation of images that show the overall inspiration and mood of the shoot. This helps me get inside your brain and see your vision. I can see what light, style, settings and scene you are envisioning for your shoot. It helps with everything from camera settings to model clothing, and more.
2. Invest in the extras
You can always use the props and outfits we keep in the Blush Door Studio! But if you want to go the extra mile, invest a little more into your vision. Brands that invest in props, outfits and accessories for the models stand out among other brands.
3. Be as specific about what you want on the questionnaire
Elaborate on colors you love, and colors you hate. The light, look, style. Dos, Donts. The more you share, the more I can get inside your head and make your vision come to life.
4. Pick a theme for each launch
Whether it’s seasonal or a specific style, picking a theme is a way to get every new product launch to really stand out!
Shop Acre is a great example of choosing a theme for each launch. This theme below is probably my favorite. She sent me a mood board with harsh shadows and grid light, vintage style posing and scenes. See her past shoots here!
