These Sunset Cliffs engagements show case an engaged couples dream location.
Located just south of Ocean Beach in San Diego, Sunset cliffs is famous for panoramic views of the most colorful sunsets! Atop the jagged coast people congregate above the sea caves while surfers catch their last waves of the day down below. So naturally, Julia and Hyatt wanted to spend the evening shooting in this magical spot! It was the perfect place to represent the place she loves so much that represents where Julia grew up!
San Diego, a Utah love story.
Julia is from Carlsbad and Hyatt is from Utah. They both attend college in Utah and planned a long holiday weekend in her hometown. Hyatt was referred to me by a previous wedding couple of mine. Hyatt reached out to me about a month before their trip down to San Diego to plan the proposal! He had close friends and family to shoot their big event, but we worked it out so that we could shoot their engagements before they went back up to school!
A whirlwind engagement!

The romance.
Her stunning fuchsia dress was the perfect contrast against a moody stormy ocean! They braved the waves hitting against the rocks and were totally okay getting sprayed by the ocean. They danced, they laughed, and it was easy to capture their relationship. Simple and elegant, these two nailed their romantic session with the most romantic views! I am so excited for their future together!
