Reese and Jessica were on a competitive ski team together when they were young. She went on the adventure of her lifetime and worked super hard to compete in and win the Miss Alaska pageant. Meanwhile he was becoming a pro skier, riding every mountain in Alaska. They reconnected a few years ago and it was easy to fall in love. They’ve been married for a year, but last week they got dressed back up as a blush bride and Alaskan groom for our #kyleeanndestinationsleepover shoot. Eleven photographers surrounded them. It was basically a little piece of heaven.
Our Kylee Ann Destination Sleepover styled shoot team comes together even states away from home. We wanted to make sure we created one epic ” Alaska Wedding Photographer ” look. And we totally got what we were looking for. This stunning blush tulle gown is from Elizabeth Cooper Design here in Utah. Hair and make up were done by the locals, who completely killed it! Hair by Meringue Studio and Make Up by Kierra Manion. The bouquet completed the look from the amazing Alaska Knit Nat in Anchorage. As a special touch she brought along her own wedding veil.

This Kylee Ann Destination Sleepover was held in Wasilla, Alaska. Eleven girls cuddled up in Rachel’s grandma’s gorgeous wood cabin. We had attendees from Texas, Washington, Idaho, Utah and Alaska. I always cover a broad range of topics – including photography, marketing, business, branding and editing. We sit in comfy chairs and couches in the living room, and stay up way too late each night.
The Kylee Ann Sleepovers are meant to be relaxed, full of learning and making new friends. Along with all the teaching, we do styled shoots with local vendors and beautiful nearby locations. This Alaska styled shoot at Eklutna lake did not disappoint, and neither did our local vendors and models.

After a year of teaching Intro to Photography at the local technical college, she discovered that helping other entrepreneurs create thriving businesses is what fires her up! She hosts semi-annual Kylee Ann Sleepovers all over the US, speak at conferences and teach online courses about running a small business and marketing.
