Mendenhall Candid Family Pictures

From the moment that  I met Larisa I loved her gentle personality. I just wanted to photograph her candid family pictures because their interactions were so sweet. Will, her three-year-old, was rambunctious. He’s a toddler so of course he wanted to get out and play. But that didn’t make Larisa and Jordan lose their patience. They let Will be a child. He was so cute. Candid family pictures are some of the most treasured ones.

A photograph pauses a split second in time. It makes it so you can savor it forever. Candid family pictures show your family the way you are every day. Larisa and Jordan were so so patient and kind guiding Will along until we started taking pictures. I asked Will if he wanted to come with me to pick his mom some flowers and he was so excited! He picked out some yellow ones and said she was going to love them.

Will was the cutest brother ever. He was so concerned with what Emma was doing and wanted to make sure she was okay. The thing I always tell parents at the beginning of family sessions is that the kids are going to be wild, but we’ll still get good pictures. I tell them not to stress because I’ve got everything under control. Even when my families want to trust me, it’s so hard, because you want your kids to behave. Larisa and Jordan were able to stay happy and calm throughout their entire session, and just like I promised, we got some adorable pictures.
