You are going to love these Salt Lake engagements! Emily served her mission in Iowa and right when she was getting home, her parents got put into a single’s ward bishopric in Provo. Emily got home and right away headed back up to BYU-I for school. Her parents had told her about a cute boy in the ward they were leading, but since she was at school so far away she wasn’t interested in dating a boy back home. Then one fateful day in January, she came with her parents to the ward, and instantly noticed the cute latin boy in the ward. That was Andres. He totally thought Emily was cute, but he wasn’t sure he was allowed to ask her out. Finally they decided to hang out a few times and then headed on a date. They stayed out talking at that night until the restaurant closed. She liked him and he liked her. Fast forward a few months, they knew they were getting married and Emily was in full planning mode. She was getting frustrated without her ring. She made sure that Andres knew that thinking the ring wasn’t done, but it totally was in Andres’ pocket that whole week. He finally proposed one evening on the shores of Utah lake, and Emily as SO happy!! She just loves this Peruvian of her’s! I met up with these two for Salt Lake engagements!
