The Loaiza Family

Stephanie and I went to high school together. I love photographing people who I’ve known long before they had families of their own. It’s so sweet! Stephanie met her husband, Andrew, up at Utah State. Now they are raising their future Aggies. Go Aggies.  After school they moved out to California for Andrew’s job. Stephanie is a food blogger with her sisters at Six Sisters Stuff, so she can work remotely. They are living the best California life. I love seeing the kids on the beach, going to Disney, and soaking up the sunshine. 

I love following along Steph’s Instagram because she always inspires me, without making me feel like I can’t cook. I get so may amazing dinner ideas. I always feel like I’m fully capable to to cook a family meal. Family dinner is so important so anyone that encourages me to gather my family at the dinner table is a follow in my book. Honestly no other food bloggers do that for me. She makes family meals seem so important with not too much hassle.

Steph and Andrew are big Disney fans, as every Californian should bLoaiza Familye. They have three cute kids who are full of personality. But hearing her twin girls talk about Disney Princesses melted my mama heart. Melted!

At the end of our session Andrew said some of his favorite pictures from the previous year were the candid ones of the kids eating snacks, and just playing. I’m so glad he told me this because as a photographer sometimes you feel silly taking pictures of the messy moments. Life with kids is full of messy moments, and I think it’s so sweet that he can recognize that!
