My husband, Luke, grew up down the road from five awesome guys. One of those five guys became his uncle (by marrying me) and the other four became his brothers. One of these brothers finally gave me a sister-in-law (kinda). Meet Paige.
Paige found herself in Cache Valley at Utah State University, where she was introduced to Nathan! Paige and Nathan were married in the middle of this Cache Valley winter. Thankfully, they were married in the Mesa Arizona temple where it was much warmer and the ground was dry. When they got back from their honeymoon, we did a 10 minute bridal session where Paige about froze to death. She spent the rest of the day thawing out her feet before her open house.
Brennan Terry and I decided to team up on a bride project. I wanted to find a lace dress and use makeup, hair and flowers to pull off three different looks. I knew I wanted Paige to be my flower crown model because she is stunning and her real bridal session was just too short.
I spent one day searching every thrift store in Logan for the perfect dress to pull off these looks. I told Brennan I gave up and would try again in the Spring. A few weeks later, Paige showed up in church with THE dress on. I hadn’t even told her of my plan. It was just meant to be.
Before I even told Paige, I told Brennan the shoot was back on. I also messaged the amazing April Luck, who just opened a floral boutique in Providence to help with the flower crown. With the talent of these two ladies, we pulled off an amazing photoshoot. Thank you Paige for letting us dress you up for a day.
Whoever said there’s no beauty in this dead Cache Valley winter was wrong.
Also, a special thanks to Nathan for finding a beautiful wife and sharing her with me for a few hours. I know how hard that must have been as a newlywed ;)
