Lauren and PJ found each other last summer while she was on her scooter and he was on his motorcycle. One word to describe Lauren & PJ: fun. Judge for yourself with all the pictures below…
We had Lauren and PJ’s engagement sessions scheduled for a few months now. The day before their engagement session is started snowing like crazy. We played it by ear on Saturday and decided it was clear enough to go out. With PJ’s grandma’s old bike, we set out for long roads and open spaces. We got through one outfit before the storm hit again.
The next night was absolutely gorgeous. Cold, but beautiful. The light hit them perfectly and made for a very romantic conclusion to our engagement sessions. This beautiful location was actually the same place they took their first date.
With the help of Pinterest and the DI, Lauren and PJ’s wedding is vintage. To make the announcements authentic, they wanted to do add a little bit of vintage. They gathered hats, pearls, lace and suspenders from friends and we were set to go. It was beautiful to photograph love from the shore as the canoe drifted out to the sunset.
I’m also very proud to announce that these engagement sessions will be featured on
Peter Loves Jane. Watch for the link!
