Not too many people have stuck by me through it all. Like through braces, flippy hair phase, ridiculous/stalker crushes and gauchos. Aka middle school. I believe a true friend is someone who knew you in middle school and still likes you; Kayla is one of those true friends. We have so many memories from classes, middle school, choir concerts, high school, musicals, late nights and more. But since high school, we’ve only seen each other ONE time. I was shooting one of her best friend’s weddings. She told me one day I would be back in Olympia shooting hers. AND IT’S FINALLY HERE! Cory and Kayla have been together for years and years. Almost as long as I’ve been married. They’ve lived in two different states together too! A few months ago, Cory popped the question. Now they are planning their November 2017 wedding. I was in town last weekend for a last minute trip. Kayla saw I was here the night before I left so we planned her engagements for the next morning before my flight. She totally didn’t mind the 40 minute drive and 70% chance of rain. It turned out to be perfect weather and absolutely magical.
