Maci B is one of my best friends. In 2015 she attended the first EVER Kylee Ann Sleepover. We became friends immediately afterwards and bonded over our love for Mobettah’s, Washington, the Bachelor and of course, photography. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in the exact same major as my husband and sat next to him during the ceremony. She’s the type of friend we’d bring with us on a date. 😂
Later that year Maci agreed to come with me to Showit United last minute. She knew nothing about the conference or the speakers, but came anyway as my roomie. We flew off to Arizona and became even closer. She was the best wingman. The kind of girl that has no fear walking into a cocktail party with photog celebs when I wanted to curl up in a ball. We were dates to the United Ball, and even posed for professional pictures together. Everywhere we went we introduced ourselves “I’m Maci, I’m Kylee. We’re wedding photographers living in Utah, but we’re both from Washington.” Everyone was fascinated we stayed friends so long and moved to Utah together, but really we just had so much in common even only knowing each other for less than a year.
Maci became a momma last fall, which made it the PERFECT time to join our team as a senior photographer. She wanted more time with her baby, but didn’t want to give up on what she loved to shoot – seniors.
We are SOOO excited to have her as our Kylee Ann Senior Photographer because it’s not something we’ve offered the past few years. She is AMAZING at shooting seniors. She makes you feel comfortable immediately, is a pro at posing and will become your best friend instantly. Kylee Ann Maughan is a family and international brand photographer based in small-town Northern Utah. She has been a business owner for 13.5 years, and also runs a successful and award-winning associate team. Kylee hosts semi-annual retreats, speaks at conferences and teaches online courses about running a small business and marketing. Her niche in coaching is helping moms turn their passion into profit, while being the mom they dream of.
