Capture both milestones with one photoshoot – Logan Utah Senior pictures and missionary pictures at the same time!
That’s what we did with this cute senior, Ashton!
Senior year and preparing for a mission are both major milestones in a young person’s life. And when these milestones overlap, why not capture them in one memorable photoshoot? Senior boys may not be as enthusiastic about taking photos as the girls, which makes it an ideal time to incorporate missionary pictures into the session. Let’s dive into how you can make the most of this opportunity and capture your son’s journey in a single session.
Planning a combined photoshoot for your son’s senior and mission pictures requires some forethought and preparation. Start by scouting out locations that would work well for both types of photos. For instance, a park or a garden can provide a neutral backdrop for senior photos, as well as a peaceful setting for missionary shots. If your son is open to it, you could also take some photos at the temple to add a spiritual dimension to the shoot.
Next, think about the outfits and props that would complement both types of pictures. For senior pictures, you can go for a classic look, with casual clothing, dress shirts, ties, and blazers. For missionary pictures, you could have your son wear his white shirt and tie, or a suit if he already has it. Props such as flags, scriptures, or a mission map can also add interest and variety to the photos.
Combining senior pictures and missionary pictures into one session is a great way to save time, money, and energy, while celebrating two important milestones in your son’s life.
