I think my heart grew a few sizes larger on Saturday watching Stefanie marry Marcello. If you remember these two who flew in during a snow storm in February for their engagements. We spent that entire session laughing and their wedding day was no different. The entirety of their day was perfection, from the amazing mountain backdrop of the Millcreek Inn, the beautiful blush and gold details, the groomsmen in their dress blues, simple and intimate vows to finally Stefanie and Marcello dancing the evening away as newlyweds. When I arrived, the bridal suite was a buzz with last minute details and final touches on bridesmaid dresses. Stefanie stepped into her tulle and lace ballgown and linked arms with her father. She especially wanted photographs of Marcello’s face as he saw her for the first time in her dress— she knew he would be full of emotion. Not only is Marcello a happy and nice guy, he is totally and completely devoted to his new wife. The emotions were flowing from that moment on and they shared their vows through happy tears. They were thrilled to be married by their friend, surrounded by their siblings, family and friends. A delicious dinner was served after family and couple portraits and the canyon air held a little chill as the sun sunk behind the mountain. But not for long when the dance floor got heated up by some great music and some even better moves. The night concluded with traditions against the sparkly lighted trees and a send off into a old school car, while the groomsmen saluted. My favorite part of the night was when I was standing near the happy couple right before dinner and Stefanie looked over at Marcello and said “I’m so happy!” It was such a sweet moment shared between two soulmates. I was happy to get to serve these two!
