Corynn and Nick were married in the Portland Temple on July 18th. (here) A week later, they had their reception at the Olympia LDS Stake Center. It was sooo much fun to hang out for a week in Oregon and Washington in between the two events. The reception was outdoors in the pavilion. After a few days of rainy gloomy weather, they were blessed with bright, hot sunny weather. Corynn and her mom did an AMAZING job with the decorations. They had pink parachutes hanging from the background and ceiling to disguise the pavilion. They turned it into a gorgeous reception venue. There was a touch of vintage and lace throughout the entire room with suitcases, doors, keys and other fun decor. It was girly, lacy and totally Corynn! I love a good PINK wedding! Corynn’s grandma made the wedding cake. The entire cake (including the flowers on top) cost her a total of $30 to make. She is brilliant and thrifty. For food, they had a cookie bar catered by the Klofts. It was as delicious as it looked. ;)
