One year ago today I was holding a tiny seven pound baby in my arms. She was an angel. A sweet cuddler that rarely made a peep. She brought me so much peace and joy. Now she’s FULL of personality, sass and independence. Today is she is ONE! Our little Miss Piper Ann is one feisty girl. She knows what she wants and is determined to get it….right this second. She LOVES to provoke Brody and sometimes it’s extremely entertaining to watch. She also loves to snuggle up to him, ride on his shoulders (with help) and play with him. Her brother is her best friend. Piper loves to copy sounds and pitches, grunt and is starting to say some words, but only when she wants to — baby, mom, dad, brody. Her favorite animal noises are moo, rawr, meow and ruff. Piper started sitting before she was 6 months, crawling and climbing stairs shortly after and took her first steps at 9 months. Today on her first birthday she is a runner, a backwards walker and a climber (up and down). I find her on the top floor when I left her in the basement, or in the basement when I left her on the top floor. I’ve found her on the toilet trying to get on the counter and scaling the furniture. She loves reading, dogs, dancing, singing and making her parents sweat. We love our CRAZY little lady.
