Powder Mountain Engagements | Courtney & Kaden
Courtney and I grew up together. I actually took her senior pictures when I was first starting into photography. I have such a special place in my heart for clients that trusted me when I first started and have grown with me as I have gotten better. I’ve known her family for years so this is going to be an extra special wedding.
We went up to Powder Mountain for these engagements and it is such a hidden gem. Now that I live down in Davis county I’ve been able to do more exploring down here and it has been so much fun. We caught the tail end of the wild flowers and it was soooo beautiful. You could see so far into the distance.
Courtney and Kaden met working as host and hostess for Rainbow Gardens at The Greenery Restaurant. Their relationship developed as their friendship developed. One night after working Kaden text Courtney to see if she wanted to get ice cream. He picked her up, took her out for ice cream and she thought nothing of it. After ice cream they went back to Kaden’s house for a movie night. When they were walking in, Kaden took her around the back. There was a pathway lined with rose petals going to a cove of trees. In the trees there were lights strung up high. Under the trees there were pillows and blankets and pictures all around. Basically imagine the cutest set up in the middle of glowing trees. As they walked over Kaden handed her a bouquet of roses and got down on one knee.
I love their proposal story because it shows how thoughtful Kaden is. He loves Courtney so much and he takes his role as her fiancé very seriously. They are just my favorite couple and I can’t wait to watch their relationship grow.
